Three ways to gather — choose the experience that fits you

The Wine Event Series is a refreshed and expanded version of our longtime Wine Connoisseurs group —designed to bring even more enjoyment, variety, and connection to our wine gatherings.

Over the years, Wine Connoisseurs has attracted a wide range of members, some looking for a relaxed, social evening, and others interested in exploring higher-quality wines or enjoying a more guided tasting experience.

Rather than trying to make one event serve every preference, the Wine Event Series introduces three distinct types of gatherings, each designed with a distinctive style, structure, and level of wine focus—while keeping the same welcoming, community-centered atmosphere we all enjoy.

Members are welcome to participate in one, two, or all three event types. All events are optional and open on a first-come, first-served basis.

🍷 Wine Enthusiast

Casual, welcoming, and social — wine is the backdrop

Monthly • $20 bottle

This is the continuation of our original Wine Connoisseurs group, with a name that better reflects its relaxed and social nature.

Wine Enthusiast events are designed to be easy to join, approachable, and centered around connection. These gatherings are hosted in members’ homes and typically welcome 35–45 guests, depending on space.

Each month features a light theme—such as a varietal or region—chosen by the host, but the focus remains on enjoying wine casually and spending time with neighbors.

What to expect

• A relaxed, social environment 
• A wide variety of accessible, everyday wines 
• Opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces 
• No formal structure or pressure—just a fun evening together 

Event Details & Logistics

• When: Monthly (announced at the beginning of each month) 
• Who: All Social Club members (advance sign-up required) 
• RSVP: First responses accepted; waitlist as needed 
• Wine: One bottle per person, approximately $20 
• Couples bring: 1 bottle + hearty appetizer or dessert 
• Singles bring: 1 bottle + small appetizer or dessert 
• Host provides: Space 
• Coordinator provides: Wine glasses, paper plates, napkins, utensils, ice and water

🍷 Wine Select

A little more structure, still very social

Every other month • $40 bottle

Wine Select events are designed for members who enjoy exploring wine a bit more intentionally, while still keeping the experience relaxed and approachable.

These gatherings introduce light themes and guided conversation, allowing members to explore wines by region, varietal, or style—without turning the evening into a formal class or lecture.

Attendance is intentionally capped at 20 guests, creating a more comfortable setting for tasting and conversation.

What to expect

• A brief introduction to the evening’s theme 
• Relaxed tasting with light structure 
• Conversation prompts to spark discussion (no pressure, no scoring) 
• Food that loosely pairs with the theme 

Event Details & Logistics

• When: Every other month (approximately 6 times per year) 
• Who: All Social Club members (advance sign-up required) 
• Attendance: Limited to 20 guests; waitlist as needed 
• Wine: One bottle aligned with the theme, approximately $40 
• Food: Appetizer or dessert designed to complement the theme 
• Format: Lightly structured, social tasting (not a class or lecture) 
• Host provides: Space 
• Coordinator provides: Wine glasses, paper plates, napkins, utensils, ice and water

🍷 Wine Premier Experience

A more focused, curated, and elevated wine evening

Quarterly • $80 bottle

Wine Premier Experience is designed for members who enjoy exceptional wines and a more intentional tasting experience.

These events bring together a smaller group of members to share fine wines in a thoughtful, guided setting, with an emphasis on quality, pairing, and meaningful conversation.

Attendance is limited to 16 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere where each wine can be appreciated and discussed.

What to expect

• A guided, theme-based tasting experience 
• Wines typically in the $80 range 
• A more focused and intentional pace 
• Thoughtful food pairings that complement the wines 
• A shared experience among members equally invested in the evening 

Event Details & Logistics

• When: Quarterly 
• Who: All Social Club members (advance sign-up required) 
• Attendance: Limited to 16 guests; waitlist maintained 
• Wine: One bottle, approximately $80 
• Bring: 1 wine + appetizer or dessert to pair and determined by host 
• Format: Guided tasting with structured discussion 
• Host provides: Space and Main course 
• Coordinator provides: Wine glasses, paper plates, napkins, utensils, ice, and water

• Wines are selected to align with each event’s theme 
• Proof of price/provenance may be requested to maintain consistency 
• Events are designed to be shared, not intimidating—no expertise required

Whether you prefer a casual monthly gathering or an occasional elevated evening, you will always find a welcoming group, a well-organized event, and an enjoyable experience.
