SCSCAI Social Club
The Boomer Connection Club was founded in 2012 for the purpose of providing an approachable way of meeting new people.
By the end of 2025, the club has grown to over 700 members. We discovered that that our club name generated confusion amongst possible new members. There were many Sun City residents who hesitated to join because they thought
they were too old or too young to belong to the Boomer Connection. To encourage more residents to join the fun, we voted to change our name to The Sun City Summerlin Social Club.
We are a club made up of various groups, activities, and special events. Events can include a broad range from card games and dance parties to picnics and Social Hours. Unlike traditional clubs, we are not limited to one
kind of activity or special interest — just check our monthly calendar! You choose the events or activities in which you wish to take part based on your interests; then send an email to rsvp your attendance. Because the
purpose of these groups is split between general social interaction and taking part in the events themselves, both singles and couples are welcome to participate.
