Member Meeting – October 2026

Hi Members,

The Member Meeting for the “In-Person” Election for 2027 Club Officers will be held on Monday, October 26 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm. After the election, pizza will be served. 

To vote, you must be a 2026 qualified member. This requires you to show your Sun City Summerlin “photo” ID to our Welcome Crew at Meeting Check-in.

Our 2027 Elections Chairperson Marilyn Pittman will continue to accept Self-Nominations up to the day of elections on October 26 via this email: elections.chair.sc2027@gmail.com. You can also Self-Nominate at the Elections Meeting itself!

Because two (2) candidates are vying for the position of Vice President, and the possibility of additional nominees to the seven (7) Board positions, please be prepared to cast a written “secret ballot” at the Election.

After the Election, we will serve pizza.  Any 2026 qualified member can simply attend our Member Meeting to vote. However, if you are planning to stay for pizza, please RSVP by Wednesday, October 21 so we can order a sufficient number of pizza pies.

Our Member Meeting is BYOB.  We will have small pre-packaged snacks, plus water and ice.
