Music in the Park is a series of Free Concerts providing an enjoyable musical experience in a relaxed, outdoor setting. Local Sun City performers have volunteered to share their love of music with you.

Gerry’s set for Music In The Park is focused on fun sing alongs..a mix of folk, pop, and classic rock sure to get you singing, dancing, and foot-tapping…

Gerry, a Social Club member and Chicago native, started playing guitar at the Old Town School Of Folk Music in the late 60s. He got his Bachelor’s Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and spent his 20s and early 30s traveling full time with a Top40/Oldies show band playing in hotels up and down the East Coast from Maine to Florida; over to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans for Mardi Gras. He moved to Los Angeles and played the club scene for several years, until he became a church Worship Leader at St Andrew LC in Whittier, CA. He lived in Woodbury MN for 18 years, until he and his wife Dee retired to Sun City Summerlin in 2021.
