October 14 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Let’s Head to Peru!
Join us at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, or the following Tuesday, October 21, to explore Lima Limòn Peruvian Restaurant, 222 S. Decatur Blvd. 89107. The menu highlights Peru’s rich culinary history, blending indigenous ingredients with global influences.
Iconic Peruvian Style Dishes:
– Ceviche: A signature dish, ceviche is made with fresh fish marinated in lime juice.

– “Saltado” Style features stir-fried dishes that combine beef or chicken with onions and tomatoes, typically using a soy sauce-based marinade.

– Fried Rice: “Arroz Chaufa” is Peruvian for “fried rice.”Seasoned with soy sauce, these dishes are a Chinese-Peruvian fusion known as Chifa.

– “A Lo Pobre” translates to “in the poor man’s style,” and includes a protein served with French fries, plantains, and a fried egg.

– “A Lo Macho” means a hearty, robust dish, often with seafood in a delightfully rich sauce.

– And yes, for Beef Lovers, “Churrasco con Tallarin Verde or Huancaina” is a grilled New York steak, served with spaghetti in your choice of sauces, either a creamy green pesto or a creamy, spicy cheese sauce.
